About Me

Hi! My name is Anthony and I’m your tour guide and author of this blog. I’ve been an initiate of Usui Reiki for three years now and it’s been quite an entertaining and enlightening ride. I’ve spent most of my time studying and developing myself internally but I’ve had many opportunities to share this experience with others in my Reiki practice.

Currently I am a second degree student with a higher discipline in distance healing than hands on practice. I compliment Reiki with trance and meditation to bring about a deeper sensitivity to subtle energies. This past summer I underwent a major shift in energy patterns after a shamanic healing session discussed in my article titled Fear.

Outside of my Reiki practice I am a Biologist by education. I’ve led several workshops on chakra cleansing and more are planned for the future. I’ve worked in a local spa as a Reiki Practitioner specializing in distant-hand Reiki due to regulations in the state of Ohio preventing non-masseurs from touching clients.

Currently I am the Guild Chief of the Healers Guild of Ár nDraíocht Féin and a Dedicant Member of the same organization. Currently I am continuing my Reiki studies and I am also working on the Clergy Training Program of Ár nDraíocht Féin.

I can offer the following services:

  • Complete Reiki Treatment
  • Divination Services
  • House Blessing and Cleansing
  • Mineral/Crystal Healing
  • Reiki Workshops for group healing

Some other fast-facts about me:

  • Sun Sign: Aquarius
  • Constellation: The Water Bearer
  • Ruling Planets: Saturn and Uranus
  • Birthstone: Amethyst
  • MB-Personality Type: INFP / Healer
  • Tarot Personality: The Hermit

And some of my favorites:

  • Color: Yellow
  • Number: 9
  • Wild Animal: Siberian Tiger
  • Domestic Animal: German Shepherd Dog
  • Mineral: Red Jasper, SiO2 + Fe (Silicon Dioxide and Iron Oxide)
  • Healing Stone: Orange Calcite, CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate)
  • Season: Summer

It is worth noting that although my healing practice is spiritual in nature I place faith in our physicians and nurses that spend many years educating themselves and renewing their educations. I am not a licensed physician nor psychiatrist and I do not diagnose physical or mental illness. While I do believe the cause of illness is frequently spiritual in nature it is not always the fault of the spirits for broken bones and other happenings so please continue to consider the advice and directions of your doctor. When in doubt, look within.
